History
EMAC was set up in 1981 by ANDRE BERROGAIN and BERNARD SUPERVIELLE, following on from the original SUBERO company founded in 1950 by their fathers. Since July 2006 it has been managed by Didier CHAUFFAILLE and Pierre LALANNE, two of the company’s executives.
EMAC began its activity over 50 years ago in the Basque Country in the south-west of France as a supplier of rubber compounds for the local shoe industry. EMAC very quickly expanded its skills to cover a wide variety of industrial applications.
Today it is recognised in the car industry as well as rail transport, the public buildings and works sector, the food processing industry, chemicals, arms and aeronautics. EMAC is a guarantee of competitiveness, quality, flexibility, reactivity and dynamic cooperation.
Over the last fifty years EMAC has become one of France’s leading rubber compound manufacturers.
